AlphaLab is a nationally recognized startup accelerator based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is a program of Innovation Works, a leading seed-stage investor in the region. Founded in 2008, AlphaLab was one of the earliest accelerators in the United States, predating many of the more well-known programs. Its founding mission was to foster a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in Pittsburgh by providing early-stage technology companies with capital, mentorship, and a structured program designed to accelerate their growth.
