About This Program

LAUNCH Accelerator: Fueling Startup Growth

The LAUNCH Accelerator, founded by entrepreneur and investor Jason Calacanis, has established itself as a pivotal force in the startup ecosystem. Born from a vision to democratize access to capital, mentorship, and networks for promising early-stage companies, LAUNCH has evolved into a highly sought-after program. Its mission is clear: to empower founders to build faster, raise capital more efficiently, and scale their ventures with the support of a seasoned community. The accelerator prides itself on its founder-first approach, emphasizing intensive, hands-on guidance and a commitment to long-term success.

Program Structure and Timeline

The LAUNCH Accelerator runs an intensive 14-week program designed to propel startups through critical growth phases. Each cohort, typically comprising 7-12 startups, engages in 25 intensive workshops covering essential aspects of company building, from product development to fundraising strategy. A key component of the program is the opportunity for founders to pitch to a vast network of investors, with 11 dedicated pitch sessions scheduled throughout the 14 weeks. The program culminates in a demo day, providing a platform for founders to showcase their progress and secure further investment. The next cohort, LA36, is slated for March 2026, indicating a consistent and structured program delivery.

Mentorship, Network, and Investment

Beyond the $125,000 investment, LAUNCH offers unparalleled access to a robust Silicon Valley network. Founders gain direct exposure to over 500 investors within the LAUNCH ecosystem, significantly accelerating their fundraising efforts and often leading to higher valuations. The program's partners, including Mercury, PayPal, Render, and Optimist Legal, provide valuable resources and support. Participants become part of the extended "LAUNCH family," fostering peer-to-peer mentorship and collaboration among alumni. The program also focuses heavily on perfecting the startup's pitch, not just for investors but also for recruiting and media engagement. Founders learn strategies, tips, and tactics directly from industry leaders and gain prioritized speaking opportunities at events like This Week in Startups and Founder.University.

What Makes It Unique

What sets LAUNCH apart is its blend of significant capital investment, intensive hands-on support, and a deeply integrated network. The program's emphasis on practical application and direct investor access distinguishes it from many other accelerators. The testimonials from alumni, such as Brittany Peregoff of W2W (LA34), highlight the program's ability to open doors and provide expert guidance that is typically out of reach for early-stage founders. The program's commitment to helping founders raise money faster and at higher valuations, combined with its global reach and access to a pre-existing Silicon Valley network, makes it a unique proposition for ambitious entrepreneurs.

Participant Experience and Outcomes

Participants in the LAUNCH Accelerator can expect a demanding yet highly rewarding experience. The 14 weeks are packed with workshops, pitch practice, and direct engagement with mentors and investors. Day-to-day activities are geared towards rapid iteration, strategic development, and fundraising preparedness. The program aims to transform early-stage companies into investor-ready ventures with a clear path to growth. Notable alumni from recent cohorts, such as Argonath, Grapple, Lauft, Siteline, SKN Systems, Super Producer, SuperTranslator, and Yorby AI from LA36, demonstrate the diverse range of companies that benefit from the LAUNCH methodology and go on to achieve significant milestones.
